Chicano University, in full collaboration with the Chicano Power Organization, is committed to establishing the first fully accredited Mexican-American university that centers Chicano, Indigenous, and Mestizo identity at the core of all academic, civic, and cultural programming.
We exist to dismantle systemic barriers in higher education by creating a space where Raza students are not only welcomed — they are celebrated, mentored, and elevated. Our curriculum honors the contributions of Aztec scientists, Mayan astronomers, Indigenous healers, and Chicano civil rights warriors.
Every program — from law to medicine, from education to our groundbreaking Chicano Police Academy — is designed to produce leaders who serve their communities with dignity, respect, and revolutionary purpose.

SIGNATURE PROGRAM
CHICANO POLICE ACADEMY
The Chicano Police Academy at Chicano University is unlike any law enforcement training program in America. Every recruit is trained to serve with dignity, cultural competency, and deep respect for the communities in which they patrol.
This is not just an academy — it is a revolution in policing philosophy. Officers trained here will understand Chicano history, community trauma, and the responsibility that comes with wearing a badge in La Raza's neighborhoods. They will know the difference between serving the community and occupying it.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Community first. De-escalation over confrontation. Dignity in every encounter. The community is not the enemy — it is the family we protect.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
100% of graduates complete a 6-month community immersion before street assignment. Officers trained here go back to their communities — not as enforcers, but as guardians.
